Understanding confirmed time

Short, verifiable references for leadership, project managers and finance teams.

Work evidence: the definition timesheets are missing

Work evidence is an authorised, verifiable trace that an activity took place: a calendar event, a code contribution, an edited document. It doesn't state the value of the work; it states that it happened, when, and in what context.

Entered, captured, confirmed: three different kinds of time

Entered time depends on memory. Captured time depends on a tool. Confirmed time combines an explainable proposal with a human decision — the only solid base for billing and margin.

Why billable hours disappear before invoicing

Hours are lost between doing and recording: unlogged meetings, short exchanges, work outside the tools. Reconstructing that evidence before the billing cycle closes is the most direct lever on margin.

Automating without monitoring: what employment law already requires

Consent, purpose, minimisation and proportionality are not optional. Individual activity data used as a performance measure changes legal nature — and risk.
